Three-Phase Voltage Regulator

They are devices that can be used as THREE-PHASE VOLTAGE REGULATOR.

Selectable functions:

- Application field: frequent commands of three-phase loads as alternative to electromechanical contacts.

- Test technique: “zero crossing” SCR seeding to avoid disturbances and distortions on the supply line.

- Application field: proportional control of the temperature in ovens with electric elements.

- Test technique: the electric power is applied on the load for whole periods that depends on a programmable cycle time and on the power set, settable through a 0÷10Vdc analog signal.

The SCR seeding is always “zero crossing” type to avoid disturbances and distortions on the supply line.

- Application field: continuous voltage regulation on transformers for feeders, resistors, lamps, ventilators, high slip motors and others.

- Test technique: output modulation from 0 to 100% of the line voltage, through the linearized control of the SCR seeding phase angle. Besides the open loop basic action, through the 0/10Vdc analog inputs available, it is possible to realize voltage and current feed-backed feeders.

- balanced load > 3 wire star connection without neutral

- balanced and unbalanced load > 3 wire star connection with neutral, 3 wire star connection and 6 wire connection

 

 

The code 310S block is a three-phase voltage regulator, planned to command any type of resistance or inductive load even if partially unbalanced, with or without feedback. The drive gives the possibility of activating the regulation with feedback by an internal voltmeter transformer, with the aim of obtaining an outgoing voltage variation which is connected to the command signal variation in perfectly linear proportion, independent from the current/voltage phase difference caused by the load. An input is naturally available for feedback from external signal.
