Rowan Elettronica is always involved on research in order to improve the quality, efficiency and technological level of its products. It collaborates with the Consortium for Research in Industrial Electronics (KIWA CREI VEN) and it recently has been receiving
funds from the Italian State for advanced research.
Rowan Elettronica obtained the UNI-EN ISO 9001 Quality Certification thanks to:
• Highly specialised personnel;
• New technology studio;
• Checks of materials, using rigid procedures for each individual type of component. The company has a continuous relationship with its suppliers, to better improve performance;
• Rigorous tests and serialization for every single product.
MOTOR TESTING INCLUDES, AMONG OTHERS, THE FOLLOWING:
• Resistance, impedance and insulation verification (2000 V);
• Verification of the following characteristics during loadless operations conditions: absorption, noise and operation of possible inner devices (tachometer, brake, encoder, fan, etc.).
THE ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS TESTING PROCEDURE INCLUDES:
• Treatment of the board with special resins to prevent eventual malfunctions caused by the presence of humidity in the electric panels within the limits set by the norm.
• A global test cycle for the board in real working conditions: each board produced is supplied with a testing manual whose procedures are faithfully followed, among which the specifications of the apparatus which are indispensable for the testing (even
these are periodically controlled and calibrated), point to point testing sequences and standard settings.
